Hunting

Nearly 100,000 acres of District lands are available for deer, hog, turkey, and small game hunting. The majority of these lands are part of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's (FWC) Wildlife Management Area (WMA) program.

For more information about WMAs, contact the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) at 386.758.0525 to request its annual hunting handbook or stop by your local tax collector's office to pick up a copy.

Prescribed Burn at Mallory Swamp
