District Lands Reopened Post Hurricane Michael
LIVE OAK, FLA., Oct. 15, 2018 – Last week, a number of Suwannee River Water Management District (District) public lands were closed due to impacts from Hurricane Michael.
District Public Land Tract Closures Due to Hurricane Michael
LIVE OAK, FLA., Oct. 10, 2018 – Due to Hurricane Michael, many of the Suwannee River Water Management District’s (District) public lands throughout the Suwannee Valley have been closed to public access until further notice.
District Initiatives Emergency Order In Preparation For Hurricane Michael
LIVE OAK, FLA., Oct. 8, 2018 – The Suwannee River Water Management District (District) has issued an emergency order for Hurricane Michael, which is expected to begin impacting parts of the Suwannee Valley and northwest Florida by Tuesday evening.
District Lands Open
All District lands have been reopened following Hurricane Michael.
Visitors to the Steinhatchee Springs, Steinhatchee Falls and Steinhatchee Rise tracts are encouraged to be cautious due to flood conditions.
