On these tracts, which are are part of Twin Rivers State Forest, visitors may enjoy biking, hiking, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing on administrative roads, in addition to fishing and hunting. For more information, call or visit:

The Florida National Scenic Trail traverses the Ellaville, Black, and Mill Creek tracts before exiting the Suwannee region and heading west.

Access

Ellaville tract from Madison:
Travel east on US 90; the entrance is on the right before crossing the river.

Black tract from Madison:
Travel east on US 90 to SE River Road , turn right; travel south 4 miles and the entrance is on the left. Continue south 2 miles on SE River Road and Mill Creek North is on the left.

Mill Creek South from Madison:
Continue south on SE River Road approximately 3 miles; the tract is on the left.

Anderson Springs from Live Oak:
Travel west on US 90 to River Road, turn left; travel south 2 miles crossing over I-10; the entrance is at the foot of the overpass on the right.

Prescribed Fire Notices:

Prescribed fire Operations will be conducted on the following tract(s) on 1/8/2018:

The Woods Ferry Tract in Suwannee County. Prescribed fire activities will be conducted on the south side of the main entrance road in the central part of the tract.

For the safety of recreational users, public access to burn areas will be closed during burning operations. Contact Scott Gregor, Natural Resource Specialist, at 386.362.8130 for additional information.
